 Hey bloggers, Tiffanie again. Misharma and I still have not filmed. I’ve been out of town like I said the last blog. O even came to the same town I’m in. She came this weekend. Now she’s back home however I’m still here. My out of town vacation has been very relieving. I’ve been relaxing and hanging with my family. This break was very much needed. I feel as though if I didn’t have this break now my mental health would be terrible. Before the spring break I was at my breaking point. The filming process is expected to be smooth. We’ll be meeting up at my house as previously said. We’ll most likely meet up around 2 or 3 Pm. We’ll be meeting up at this time so we’re able to catch sunlight. My brother will come with me to her house just like last time. We have a scene where we’re getting ready to go to the mall. So, we’ll have another outfit prepared.   Hey bloggers! My partner and I are very excited to film this video.We are deciding on what day we should start filming. We were thinking about filming this weekend on Saturday. We want to make sure that both of our schedules are free to be able to have enough time to film this. We came to a conclusion that this week and will probably not be the best. It is very close. It is two days away and she does not have a ride to my house. Transportation is a big deal. Although we want to film we have to make it accessible to the people that will bring us. We are hoping that we can film either during spring break or the weekend after. We are making sure that we both have a clear schedule during spring break. We feel like in order to make this film we will need both of us. If only one of us is doing the whole project it wouldn’t be as creative.  Hey bloggers! As expected we did not get to film last Saturday. Misharma had an event to attend. I was also pretty busy aswell . It was for very important family business. So, we couldn’t meet up that day. Instead, we want to film this upcoming Saturday. This saturday is the day we’ve been sure we’ll be filming. However, there might be a chance that we can’t film together. There’s a possibility that I’ll be going out of town this week. I really need this break. It’s going to be very helpful with clearing my mind and relieving my stress. I’ll be going out of town with my brothers. I won’t be coming back home until early April. Along the lines we might think of something more creative or better to use. So if we think of something better will add it as we go. We are deciding on what day we should start filming. Hey bloggers, My partner and I wanted to start filming this Saturday. However, this most likely will not be able to happen. I will be in pain that weekend due to cramps and etc. I may fight through the pain or we’ll have to film another day in the week. Also, I has an event to attend. So, we’ll have to start filming another day. The scenes will still be filmed at my house and neighborhood. Now moving onto the topic of editing. My partner I will be using IMovie to edit the opening scene per usual. We’ll be using this because we have experience with this app. Tiffanie will be the one adding the music. However, with editing the clips this kind of depends on which phone we record on. Most likely we’ll record on mine so I’ll be the one editing the clips. With editing the clips that means I’ll have to either slow down, fasten the pace, or crop something out of the frame. The previous project we did together we did these exact jobs. Hey bloggers! My partner and I continued our research on title sequence within thriller film. This time we researched the movie Irréversible. We did all our research on the website watchthetitles.com. This title research helps us determine how we should execute our titles in our film. Irréversible is a French film. We chose this film because it adds more variety to the other ones we researched so far. During this sequence the opening credits and title of the movie is displayed. These titles are written with some flipped letters and words. It adds to the sense of suspense. The titles start slipping to the side to then completely “tumble” off the screen. Technology that’s used effectively is the editing techniques. The music used is an example of this. The music played during the opening sequence is very essential to the genre. Hey bloggers!My partner and I continued to do title research. This time we did research on a movie called Lady in a Cage. We did our research using the website artofthetitle.com. This title research helps us because these movies are within the same genre as our film. The titles displayed during the opening sequence is the Paramount logo. When seeing this logo you notice that there’s vertical stripes. It also states the production company, main characters, and crediting everyone else involved. Then, states the title. The vertical stripes used in this opening emphasizes the idea of the cage. The images shown in this sequence include a girl rolling her skate up and down a man’s leg, a dog lying dead in the street, and cars passing by. These images bring forth a disturbing and concerning outlook. However, this is the job of the images. The images and title designs help bring forth the sense of thriller while also appealing to the target audience. People who like thriller are more likely to...

Hey bloggers! My partner and I have not started filming yet. We’re discussing about filming on March 6th. However, we’re not sure if we’ll be able to start filming yet. We have to make sure every person participating has their schedule cleared. The attendance of everyone involved in the making of this film is very critical. My partner and I were speaking about the props that will be used in this film. These props will include phones, purses, and etc. The purse will be an addition to the outfits that the girls are wearing. The outfits for the girls are supposed to be casual. So, we’ve decided we’ll be wearing jeans, sandals/sneakers, and a casual top. Also, the phones are shown in two separate scenes. These scenes are when they are getting prepared to leave the house and when they’re calling Aly. Moving onto the topic of music we still haven’t finalized what we want. Hey bloggers! This blog is about our titles. We’ll be describing our title design. When making a film title cards are very critical. You have to have your opening and ending credits. We want to have the red font for the names in the credits so it can put emphasis on their importance in making the film be possible to make. Also, we’ll be making the title in bold and in caps so the audience also pays attention to that. The picture below will show you the font examples since they do not show in blogger the same way. The first two bullet points are where the font examples reside.  Although, Tiffanie and I didn’t discuss this much we realized it’s importance when we reflected on other films. Hey bloggers! Our film scene 1 Starts off with an establishing shot to show their friends house. Zooms in to show the view from the window. Scene 2 is non-diagenetic sound in the background. The three friends walked past to get there to the couch that is by the window view. Scene 3 is Zooms out from showing the house once again and a glimpse of the neighborhood. Ambient sound will be used with traffic noise when showing the neighborhood. Scene 4 is We cut back to Oreamo‘s house while showing the girls talking.Dialogue between the girls includes them talking about where to go. Scene 5 is The dialogue continues, they decide to go to the mall. The high key lighting is used in all the same so far. Casual clothing is worn.  Hey bloggers! This is the planning part two. Our schedule for filming will be a bit scattered. We want to start filming on March 6th. However, we are not 100% sure we will be able to. If not we’ll start filming on the 13th. We’re hoping we’ll be able to finish filming all the scenes in that day. However, if not we’ll continue and finish filming on the 14th. We’re thinking about meeting up to film at 3 pm on those days. For the location of our film we’ll be back at my house. We want to shoot some scenes in her house and outside in the neighborhood. The participants in this film will of course be Misharma and I. We’ll also be having her friends Oreamo, Alanys, and Oreamo’s little brother play roles in the film.    Hey bloggers! Tiffanie again. This blog is going to be my storyboard blog. So to start off the film there is an establishing shot to show the house the 3 characters are in. They were at Oreamo’s house. Then, a zoom in is used to show the view from the window while non diegetic sound is in the background. This non Diegetic sound will be a song which is not yet decided. We’ll still be in the window view (outside looking in) while seeing the 3 girls walking past to sit on the couch. We’ll then zoom out to show the house again and a glimpse of the neighborhood. Ambient sound will be used when showing the neighborhood. We decided on using traffic noises to add more reality to it.
