Hey bloggers! My partner and I decided that we wanted to start filming on Sunday, November 29, 2020. We made to plan to meet up. We decided to film at my house in my neighborhood, so my friend drove to my house. A few days before that I knew that we needed somebody to help us film. Some of our scenes included both of us to be in it together. So I was thinking about some people that lived in my neighborhood that I can ask. I asked my neighbor Oreamo if she could help us and she happily agreed. While shooting the scenes we were looking for different backgrounds in my neighborhood. In total there were 12 different scenes so we wanted at least six different backgrounds. We walked around and around to look for different places to go to. When we were filming some of the videos it was a little bit awkward. For example, looking into the camera was a bit awkward because we didn’t quite know what to do.But after a while we got used to it and got looser. The song we chose to do was brown skin girl by Beyoncé. The song talks about melanin in black women. So we found many places that had direct sunlight to shine on us in order to show that melanin. When making this there was a couple of distractions. For example there were ducks, cars, people staring up at us etc. but we just didn’t pay that much attention we were only focused on executing this video well. All in all, it was definitely an experience, it taught me how much work it actually takes to put into making a video.

I started to film on October 31, 2020. While filming this commercial there were some ups and downs. For example, my dad was supposed to help me film two of my scenes but then he had to suddenly go out of town so that couldn’t work. I tried to think of other people that I can asked to help me film. In one of my scenes a required movement and I couldn’t just prop up my phone and move it at the same time while I was the person that was supposed to be in that scene. I asked my mom if she could help me and she said yes. So in filming this blog I have to first plan out everything in my mind and what I was going to do. I thought about the different scenes and the different places that I would want to take each scene. Hey bloggers! My partner and I will be making a music video. We drew out pictures of what we’re gonna do for each scene. This is to keep us organized and do you know what scene is after what. We have decided that we are going to meet up. We feel that if we meet up in person to film this music video, it’ll be executed nicer. In the first scene, we will be showing The actor looking into a mini mirror with a close-up shot. In the second scene there is, The other actor will be looking into the camera. We will be using a canted Dutch angle with a mid shot.In the third scene, this will be us showing our environment around us, this is where our backgrounds will be.In the fourth, it consist of the two actors flipping their hair while walking on walking away, We will be using the tracking shot to film.  Hey bloggers, it’s Tiffanie again. My partner and I have been planning this film. We have been giving each other different ideas on what we should do. We feel like the more creative it is the weather. We were thinking about filming this Saturday. But turns out my partner will still be out of town. Hopefully by the time she gets back will still have a lot of time. Since it’s a long film it will most likely take a lot of time. We might not be able to meet up two days back to back. So we are hoping that one day will be enough although it might take a lot of the day. We have a clear plan in our head on what it should look like but we hope it turns out the way we wanted it to.We are going to try and do really queen transitions and have good backgrounds to make the film look more presentable.
