Hey bloggers!  My partner and I  just made a music video. In making The video alone was not what I expected. It was a lot harder and took a lot longer than I expected. After we filmed the music video it was time to edit. In editing the videos we had to combined a lot. Since there were 12 different scenes that means it was 12 different short videos. And to make it one music video we had to put all 12 short videos together. The second thing we did is cropped out I needed parts of the videos. For example, if it was too long or unneeded parts at the beginning or ending of the video. The next thing we did was add the background song. The background song is called brown skin girl by Beyoncé. When adding the song to the background we had to make sure that the lyrics were aligned with the correct video. In each video we had something significant that matched up with the certain words in the song. It was very essential for the lyrics in the song and the actual videos that we made to match up because if it didn’t it just wouldn’t make any sense at all. We added some transitions in between the videos to make it less boring and more creative. Adding transitions can make it look more like a professional Music video them like us just putting random things together. 16 since we did a similar project like this in the past. I have gotten used to doing some editing. We used iMovie to edit because we find that it’s just the easiest thing to use and it gives it a nice finish with the effects it has. All in all editing this video was pretty good and it was executed nicely in my opinion.

I started to film on October 31, 2020. While filming this commercial there were some ups and downs. For example, my dad was supposed to help me film two of my scenes but then he had to suddenly go out of town so that couldn’t work. I tried to think of other people that I can asked to help me film. In one of my scenes a required movement and I couldn’t just prop up my phone and move it at the same time while I was the person that was supposed to be in that scene. I asked my mom if she could help me and she said yes. So in filming this blog I have to first plan out everything in my mind and what I was going to do. Hey bloggers! My partner and I will be making a music video. We drew out pictures of what we’re gonna do for each scene. This is to keep us organized and do you know what scene is after what. We have decided that we are going to meet up. We feel that if we meet up in person to film this music video, it’ll be executed nicer. In the first scene, we will be showing The actor looking into a mini mirror with a close-up shot. In the second scene there is, The other actor will be looking into the camera. We will be using a canted Dutch angle with a mid shot.In the third scene, this will be us showing our environment around us, this is where our backgrounds will be.In the fourth, it consist of the two actors flipping their hair while walking on walking away, We will be using the tracking shot to film.  Hey bloggers, it’s Tiffanie again. My partner and I have been planning this film. We have been giving each other different ideas on what we should do. We feel like the more creative it is the weather. We were thinking about filming this Saturday. But turns out my partner will still be out of town. Hopefully by the time she gets back will still have a lot of time. Since it’s a long film it will most likely take a lot of time. We might not be able to meet up two days back to back. So we are hoping that one day will be enough although it might take a lot of the day. We have a clear plan in our head on what it should look like but we hope it turns out the way we wanted it to.We are going to try and do really queen transitions and have good backgrounds to make the film look more presentable.
