Genre Research: Dangerous Lies

 Hey bloggers! My partner and I chose to do the thrillers genre. In the first movie I talked about was the perfect guy. The second movie is pretty newly released. It’s about caregiver is drawn into a web of lies and murder after a wealthy elderly man dies and leaves his estate to her. It’s starts off with Katie and Adam are a young married couple struggling to pay their bills. Katie finds job as a caregiver for Leonard, an elderly wealthy man who grows close to her. After Katie tells Leonard about her financial struggles. Leonard insists on helping her out with money, but Katie asks him to give Adam a job as his gardener instead. Which he does. One day, a real estate agent, Hayden, appears and asks if he can buy the house. When Katie refuses, Hayden starts to observe them on a regular basis. Soon after, Leonard writes Katie a $7,000 check. Katie does not want to accept it, but Adam convinces her to use the check to pay the bills that are due and pay the rest back to Leonard. For the rest you’ll just have to watch the movie! It has to do with our pitch because it’s a thriller movie. Asked to do with our second page because it has to do with a couple that is breaking up because of jealousy and incompatibility at the end. I like camera angles that are used. It’s a variety of different angles which makes the film more diverse and interesting. Only thing I didn’t like it was The camera quality and some scenes. It can be essential to have good camera quality throughout the entire time.

I started to film on October 31, 2020. While filming this commercial there were some ups and downs. For example, my dad was supposed to help me film two of my scenes but then he had to suddenly go out of town so that couldn’t work. I tried to think of other people that I can asked to help me film. In one of my scenes a required movement and I couldn’t just prop up my phone and move it at the same time while I was the person that was supposed to be in that scene. I asked my mom if she could help me and she said yes. So in filming this blog I have to first plan out everything in my mind and what I was going to do. Hey bloggers! My partner and I will be making a music video. We drew out pictures of what we’re gonna do for each scene. This is to keep us organized and do you know what scene is after what. We have decided that we are going to meet up. We feel that if we meet up in person to film this music video, it’ll be executed nicer. In the first scene, we will be showing The actor looking into a mini mirror with a close-up shot. In the second scene there is, The other actor will be looking into the camera. We will be using a canted Dutch angle with a mid shot.In the third scene, this will be us showing our environment around us, this is where our backgrounds will be.In the fourth, it consist of the two actors flipping their hair while walking on walking away, We will be using the tracking shot to film.  Hey bloggers, it’s Tiffanie again. My partner and I have been planning this film. We have been giving each other different ideas on what we should do. We feel like the more creative it is the weather. We were thinking about filming this Saturday. But turns out my partner will still be out of town. Hopefully by the time she gets back will still have a lot of time. Since it’s a long film it will most likely take a lot of time. We might not be able to meet up two days back to back. So we are hoping that one day will be enough although it might take a lot of the day. We have a clear plan in our head on what it should look like but we hope it turns out the way we wanted it to.We are going to try and do really queen transitions and have good backgrounds to make the film look more presentable.
