Genre Research: Truth or Dare

 Hey bloggers! My partner and I chose to do The thriller genre. We are well educated on thriller because of our past project together. The last movie I spoke about was called dangerous lies. This movie is called truth or dare. It came out the year of 2018. It is both a thriller and a horror movie. It is a bell people named Olivia, Lucas and a group of their college friends. They travel to Mexico for one last getaway before graduation. While there, a stranger convinces one of the students to play a seemingly harmless game of truth or dare with the others. Once the game starts, it awakens something evil. A demon which forces the friends to share dark secrets. It also makes them confront their deepest fears. This has to do with both our pictures because it’s a thriller movie. Out of both our pictures it is more similar to the first one. In this movie truth or dare, people end up getting hurt and end up dying. Sometimes the deer brings them to a place where they get lost and die or make them hurt themselves or other people. Our first page has to do with someone being kidnapped and friends finding them. So it’s a like in the way of people disappearing and probably getting hurt. I like that the movie keeps me on my toes the entire time. It is very scary which makes you aware and want to continue watching it but are scared.Some thing I don’t like is it just feels never ending. When each person is a part of the game and has to do a dare, it’s just a constant thing of them getting hurt or killed. I would like to see a happy side to change it up a little bit and another bad event to bring it down.

I started to film on October 31, 2020. While filming this commercial there were some ups and downs. For example, my dad was supposed to help me film two of my scenes but then he had to suddenly go out of town so that couldn’t work. I tried to think of other people that I can asked to help me film. In one of my scenes a required movement and I couldn’t just prop up my phone and move it at the same time while I was the person that was supposed to be in that scene. I asked my mom if she could help me and she said yes. So in filming this blog I have to first plan out everything in my mind and what I was going to do. Hey bloggers! My partner and I will be making a music video. We drew out pictures of what we’re gonna do for each scene. This is to keep us organized and do you know what scene is after what. We have decided that we are going to meet up. We feel that if we meet up in person to film this music video, it’ll be executed nicer. In the first scene, we will be showing The actor looking into a mini mirror with a close-up shot. In the second scene there is, The other actor will be looking into the camera. We will be using a canted Dutch angle with a mid shot.In the third scene, this will be us showing our environment around us, this is where our backgrounds will be.In the fourth, it consist of the two actors flipping their hair while walking on walking away, We will be using the tracking shot to film.  Hey bloggers, it’s Tiffanie again. My partner and I have been planning this film. We have been giving each other different ideas on what we should do. We feel like the more creative it is the weather. We were thinking about filming this Saturday. But turns out my partner will still be out of town. Hopefully by the time she gets back will still have a lot of time. Since it’s a long film it will most likely take a lot of time. We might not be able to meet up two days back to back. So we are hoping that one day will be enough although it might take a lot of the day. We have a clear plan in our head on what it should look like but we hope it turns out the way we wanted it to.We are going to try and do really queen transitions and have good backgrounds to make the film look more presentable.
