Genre Research: Comedy & Romance

Hey bloggers! My partner Misharma and I decided to talk about two Genres. We chose the comedy and romance genre. If we didn’t choose our first decision, which was thriller. We definitely would’ve referred to either the comedy or romance. Comedy is definitely my favorite genre. It makes me laugh and have a good time while watching it. Comedy is a literary genre. It has a type of dramatic work that is amusing to the public. It usually has a happy ending most of the time.The motif of this dramatic work is triumph over unpleasant circumstance. This is by creating comic effects.My partner really likes romance movies. She feels that it makes her happy and hopeful. In the strictest academic terms. A romance is a narrative genre in literature that involves a mysterious, adventurous, or spiritual story line. Where the focus is on a quest that involves bravery and strong values, not always a love interest. Romance movies usually bring out emotions. Romance movies are about finding love and fighting for it as well. It can usually have a rocky start on the troubles before. Usually in the end , There is a love that is found between two or more characters.

I started to film on October 31, 2020. While filming this commercial there were some ups and downs. For example, my dad was supposed to help me film two of my scenes but then he had to suddenly go out of town so that couldn’t work. I tried to think of other people that I can asked to help me film. In one of my scenes a required movement and I couldn’t just prop up my phone and move it at the same time while I was the person that was supposed to be in that scene. I asked my mom if she could help me and she said yes. So in filming this blog I have to first plan out everything in my mind and what I was going to do. I thought about the different scenes and the different places that I would want to take each scene. Hey bloggers! My partner and I will be making a music video. We drew out pictures of what we’re gonna do for each scene. This is to keep us organized and do you know what scene is after what. We have decided that we are going to meet up. We feel that if we meet up in person to film this music video, it’ll be executed nicer. In the first scene, we will be showing The actor looking into a mini mirror with a close-up shot. In the second scene there is, The other actor will be looking into the camera. We will be using a canted Dutch angle with a mid shot.In the third scene, this will be us showing our environment around us, this is where our backgrounds will be.In the fourth, it consist of the two actors flipping their hair while walking on walking away, We will be using the tracking shot to film.  Hey bloggers, it’s Tiffanie again. My partner and I have been planning this film. We have been giving each other different ideas on what we should do. We feel like the more creative it is the weather. We were thinking about filming this Saturday. But turns out my partner will still be out of town. Hopefully by the time she gets back will still have a lot of time. Since it’s a long film it will most likely take a lot of time. We might not be able to meet up two days back to back. So we are hoping that one day will be enough although it might take a lot of the day. We have a clear plan in our head on what it should look like but we hope it turns out the way we wanted it to.We are going to try and do really queen transitions and have good backgrounds to make the film look more presentable.
