Pitch blog


 Hey bloggers! One pitch we can up with is A friend gets kidnapped. So in order to get their friend back the two friends come together to investigate her disappearance. They do things they would never imagine including a hostage exchange. The second pitch is three witches come together to get revenge on one of the witches cheating husband. In order to think of some examples of pitches, we had to think elsewhere. For example, movies that interest us.The movies that we thought about had a intriguing plot to it. We wanted our pitch to be interesting as well. We also looked up some examples for pitches online. Although we saw a few that we like we thought it was a bit basic. So we mixed a few pitches together. Then added some of our own things to come up with the two that we had. Out of both the pitches we came up with, we decided on the first one. We feel like the plot with hostages and kidnapping would be interesting. For example, it’ll spark some thriller and horror in the users which is often liked. We also thought that it was more realistic than the second pitch because the second pitch witches. My partner Misharma had an idea from her favorite show supernatural. In one of the episodes included the witches, this gave her some inspiration. I wanted to do something about a cheating husband and something happening with revenge.That’s how I had some inspiration for the second pitch.

Genre Research: Thriller

Hey bloggers! We made a genre PowerPoint. The genre we chose to do was thriller. We chose the thriller genre because it seems to be very popular and interesting. For this I worked with my partner Misharma. In this genre PowerPoint we gave examples of what will usually be seen in a thriller movie. Every genre has signature sounds and props that are used. In this PowerPoint we talked about different movies and what we usually be seen in it. In the first PowerPoint we talked about the common lighting. Thriller movies are known for a mysterious and suspicious lighting. The angle that the lighting is shining could be very essential to give it a scary vibe. In the second slide we talked about Camera angles. It is very important that they are multiple camera angles throughout a filler movie. Genre Research: The Perfect Guy

 Hey bloggers! My partner and I decided to do The thriller genre. We chose this because we feel that we are pretty educated on the topic. There’s a very popular that came out in 2015. It is A thriller movie. It’s called the perfect guy. It’s a A couple with a fulfilling career. They loved each other very much. The lobbyist Leah Vaughn seems to have it all. She has a great job that gives great income but things come crashing down when Dave her long‑term boyfriend. He questions her future plans for marriage and a family. The resulting breakup leaves Leah heartbroken, until she meets the charming and handsome Carter Duncan. This relates to our upcoming because first it’s a thriller movie.This has to do with our second page because they both have jealousy within the relationship. Someone ends up unhappy and leaves.
