The Take

 Hey there, it’s Tiffanie again. This is my final task film. With making this film there was lots of changes. We switched out some scenes and added some new ones. As expected we came up with new ideas when we met up to film. The phone scene was my favorite part. One scene we took out was the hostage exchange meeting. This was because we didn’t have enough people to help since Oreamo and Alanys couldn’t film with us. So, instead of Tiff having two friends in the film she had one. This same exact friend was the one who got kidnapped. For the hostage exchange part we used my cousin Neal. He even helped us record one scene. He’s only 4 years old and was very fast learning. I was in awe with how well he shot that certain clip. When editing this film we used IMovie. Using iMovie was the quickest and easiest thing to use. Per usual I forget how to use a screen recording as audio only. It took me about two try’s to get it since I haven’t used it in so long. IMovie gives us the tools for everything in this film. If I had another chance to do this film I would try better with not looking into the camera and lighting. It was starting to get late when we had shots to film outside. However, I think it was cool since of course time passed in the film since the girl got taken.

I started to film on October 31, 2020. While filming this commercial there were some ups and downs. For example, my dad was supposed to help me film two of my scenes but then he had to suddenly go out of town so that couldn’t work. I tried to think of other people that I can asked to help me film. In one of my scenes a required movement and I couldn’t just prop up my phone and move it at the same time while I was the person that was supposed to be in that scene. I asked my mom if she could help me and she said yes. So in filming this blog I have to first plan out everything in my mind and what I was going to do. I thought about the different scenes and the different places that I would want to take each scene. Hey bloggers! My partner and I will be making a music video. We drew out pictures of what we’re gonna do for each scene. This is to keep us organized and do you know what scene is after what. We have decided that we are going to meet up. We feel that if we meet up in person to film this music video, it’ll be executed nicer. In the first scene, we will be showing The actor looking into a mini mirror with a close-up shot. In the second scene there is, The other actor will be looking into the camera. We will be using a canted Dutch angle with a mid shot.In the third scene, this will be us showing our environment around us, this is where our backgrounds will be.In the fourth, it consist of the two actors flipping their hair while walking on walking away, We will be using the tracking shot to film.  Hey bloggers, it’s Tiffanie again. My partner and I have been planning this film. We have been giving each other different ideas on what we should do. We feel like the more creative it is the weather. We were thinking about filming this Saturday. But turns out my partner will still be out of town. Hopefully by the time she gets back will still have a lot of time. Since it’s a long film it will most likely take a lot of time. We might not be able to meet up two days back to back. So we are hoping that one day will be enough although it might take a lot of the day. We have a clear plan in our head on what it should look like but we hope it turns out the way we wanted it to.We are going to try and do really queen transitions and have good backgrounds to make the film look more presentable.
